Westporter Melissa Joan Hart is an actress, director, author, and now, a clothing designer! Her kids clothing collection, King of Harts by Melissa Joan Hart will debut its Spring/Summer 2015 collection at Groove boutique in Westport on Saturday, May 16, from 11-3pm, with a personal appearance by Hart between 12-2.
The King of Harts line was developed by Hart and her husband Mark Wilkerson after noticing a gap in the marketplace for cool, casual, and functional boys clothing. As parents to three boys, the created a collection with a vintage feel, influenced by their day-to-day experiences as parents. King of Harts by Melissa Joan Hart, which debuted for Spring/Summer 2015, is available at specialty boutiques nationwide and through their website, www.kingofharts.com.
The Spring/Summer collection has a Montauk, Long Island theme and features jeans, t-shirts and military inspired outerwear and cargo shorts for boys aged 2-12 with prices ranging from $32 to $70.
